Verizon is seeking an Associate Director to lead AI Connect Sales Engineering. The role manages senior engineers, designs dark fiber and AI-forward interconnect solutions, and coordinates with finance, product, and field teams to ensure constructible, on-schedule outcomes.

You will lead a team with deep expertise in fiber, OSP, data centers, and AI/ML integration, delivering high-value architecture for hyperscalers and neoclouds while driving bookings and revenue growth.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in engineering and architecting telecom, IT or network infrastructure with dark fiber and AI/ML relevance.
• 3+ years leading senior technical talent, including workforce planning and performance management.
• Proven track record designing and winning large, multi-year infrastructure deals, including technical qualification, pricing and contract negotiation.
• Experience engaging senior executives and delivering effective customer presentations.
• Demonstrated financial analysis skills: P&L, ROI, cost analysis and business-case development.

Responsabilidades

• Set vision and strategy for dark fiber and AI Connect design engineering for AI-forward outcomes.
• Lead the design team supporting Verizon's top strategic AI Connect customers to drive bookings and revenue growth.
• Direct world-class designs for GPU campus interconnect, data center interconnect, long-haul and intercity routes.
• Set design standards for ultra-high-count fiber, latency budgets, and phased growth for multi-stage AI builds.
• Evaluate build options with Finance and Product, and build ROI and cost models for large pursuits.
• Coordinate with Planning, Construction, Right-of-Way, Legal and Operations to ensure constructible routes on schedule and budget.
• Represent Verizon at industry events and thought leadership platforms.
