Verizon is seeking an Associate Director to lead architects and sales engineers, owning the end-to-end customer design process for AI Connect, Dark Fiber, Lit Fiber/Wave and Edge Data Centers. You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure design integrity, and drive bookings for strategic customers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in engineering and architecting telecom, IT or network infrastructure with deep expertise in dark fiber.
• 3+ years leading senior architects or sales engineers, including workforce planning, coaching and performance management.
• Experience owning complex customer solutions from design through delivery, including scope, change and contract management.
• Experience engaging senior executives and delivering effective customer presentations.
• Demonstrated financial analysis skills: P&L, ROI, cost analysis and business-case development.

Responsabilidades

• Set the vision and build an end-to-end ownership model for customer design in AI Connect, Dark Fiber, Lit Fiber/Wave and Edge Data Centers.
• Lead architects and sales engineers supporting Verizon's top strategic customers across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.
• Own the customer design lifecycle from discovery through order, hand-off, build tracking and turn-up.
• Govern design and hand-off by ensuring scope, schedule and cost align with delivered outcomes and reduce rework.
• Run delivery readiness with a customer-health cadence across Sales, Network Planning, Construction, Right-of-Way and Operations.
• Build stakeholder alignment with holistic views of customer strategy, processes and IT assets.
• Coach for influence with executive presentations, technical storytelling and account strategy.
• Bring financial discipline with business cases, ROI and cost models to match design with pricing and delivery.
• Raise efficiency by automating low-value work and enabling senior talent to focus on outcomes.
• Develop talent and presence by hiring, coaching and representing Verizon at events.
