Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will drive architectures for agent identity, post-training environments, and synthesis models, while collaborating with Security, Data and Infra teams.

The role demands 10+ years in software and AI, advanced degrees, and hands-on development of AI capabilities. EY offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, CS or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and modern secrets management.
• Familiar with AI native development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Experience with Python, Bash, Typescript, Go, Rust, Java.
• Understand AI Native design processes and principles.
• Cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, code hosting platforms (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design of control harness intelligence systems including multiagent systems and tools.
• Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large-scale systems.
• Design post training and tuning/customization environments.
• Design synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmark against evals.
• Lead comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI Native design process.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for practical outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech.
• Present at conferences and assist IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team of experts in building universal agentic control harnesses.
