Tarrant County is seeking a Lead Application Programmer Analyst to oversee planning, architecture, development, maintenance and support of enterprise applications delivered via web, Internet, Intranet, and client-server environments.

The role emphasizes OO programming practices, SDLC adherence, change control, and SLA compliance, with supervision of lower-level developers and cross-team collaboration across County departments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of experience in information technology including systems analysis, design and programming.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and leads department employees within a functional area to provide 24-hour support.
• Communicates with end-users and third-party vendors to obtain requirements for projects.
• Leads design, programming, maintenance and testing of complex applications.
• Writes advanced programs and designs reports and forms as requested by County departments.
• Updates end-user training documentation and provides training to end-users.
• Leads collaboration with business units to identify efficiency improvements.
• Provides second-level end-user support.
• Conducts reporting on application performance and upgrade needs.
• Manages interfaces and error logs.
• Maintains business process procedures with process owners.
• Resolves tickets and provides on-site support.
• Coordinates with vendors for deployments and issue resolution.
• Analyzes and resolves complex application and data problems.
