i-Pharm Consulting seeks a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to build production-grade AI systems within a hybrid setup in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on practical, end-to-end AI development that directly supports biopharmaceutical workflows and patient outcomes.

You will design multi-agent architectures, orchestrate AI tooling, and collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Principal AI Engineer
• Machine Learning Engineer
• Most importantly, you should still be spending the majority of your time designing, coding, and deploying solutions yourself.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade Agentic AI systems
• Develop reusable multi-agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and AI automation capabilities
• Build AI agents that interact with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and internal tools
• Create scalable approaches for RAG, tool calling, memory, planning, and workflow automation
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and models
• Partner with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions with measurable business impact
• Help define technical standards, best practices, and long-term AI architecture
