Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks an experienced Launch Vehicle Integration Engineer to lead the packaging and integration of subsystems for its New Glenn program. You will define interfaces, manage configuration data, and coordinate reviews across engineering teams to ensure milestones are met.

Applicants should have a BS in engineering with 10+ years in aerospace structures, CAD software proficiency (PTC Creo), and knowledge of DOC/PD tools.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with 10+ years in development and packaging of aircraft/spacecraft/launch vehicle structures.
• Demonstrated configuration control experience from early trade studies through final design and into manufacturing and test.
• Strong design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software and visualization tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools.
• Good judgment and flexibility; driven to achieve results and build trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall physical integration and packaging of subsystems (structural, mechanical, fluids, avionics).
• Define and manage interfaces using interface control documents and models.
• Coordinate configuration reviews addressing program interfaces, subsystems, assembly, and operations.
• Facilitate and resolve integration and development issues between engineering teams.
• Lead cross-functional trade and impact studies for formal changes and coordination of changes.
• Provide technical assistance to integration and testing activities.
• Develop and maintain an Integrated Launch Vehicle End Item Engineering BOM.
• Ensure configuration supports major design reviews and milestones.
• Adhere to configuration management standards and create/manage Engineering Change Requests.
