Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior engineer to join the New Glenn program in Merritt Island, FL. You will lead the physical integration and packaging of complex subsystems, define interfaces, and manage configuration control to support major design reviews and milestones.

Strong cross-functional leadership and communication are essential. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to resolve issues, develop ECNs, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering and at least 10 years of experience in development and packaging of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Demonstrated configuration control experience on recently developed aircraft or launch vehicles from early trade studies through final design and into manufacturing and test.
• Strong design and integration skills using 3-D CAD software and visualization tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools.
• Good judgment and flexibility. Driven to achieve results.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
