Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to lead mechanical and electromechanical product development from concept through prototype, testing, and delivery. The role blends design, analysis, customer interaction, proposal support, and cross-functional leadership in an aerospace context.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, perform hands-on CAD, develop test plans, and coordinate fabrication and testing to meet customer objectives on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong GD&T and drawing-release experience.
• Experience in aerospace mechanical system development and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system development projects.
• Oversee concept development and design.
• Perform hands-on 3D CAD and detailed mechanical design.
• Coordinate analysis, fabrication, and testing.
• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Interface with customers to define needs and present proposals.
• Support proposal development with advanced technologies.
• Collaborate with teams on execution and business development.
• Align technical capabilities with customer requirements.
