Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead Engineering Tech II to provide technical support and lead our team of specialists in Phoenix, AZ. You will collaborate with engineering colleagues to evaluate products, set up testing, and troubleshoot at the component level.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in aerospace/ mechanical systems, strong CAD and diagnostic skills, and experience mentoring technicians. This role is 100% onsite at the Deer Valley location in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as Engineering Technician or related role in aerospace or mechanical systems.
• Strong technical expertise in aerospace mechanical systems and components.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of support specialists.
• Set up/tear down testing stations and evaluate products with Engineering Team.
• Soldering wires, SMT or through-hole components to PCB/boards as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot systems and electronic modules to the component level.
• Develop and implement processes to improve support efficiency.
