Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to lead and manage global CNS projects from our Olathe, Kansas site on an onsite schedule. You will define scope, schedules, and budgets, lead a team of engineers, and drive continuous improvement using EVM metrics to deliver on-time performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 6+ years in aerospace project engineering, and experience with MS Project. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
• At least 6 years of experience in project engineering or related roles in Aerospace.
• Experience with timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and cost estimates.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.
• Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource forecasting (MS Project).
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using EVM metrics.
• Lead risk management to identify and mitigate risks impacting delivery.
• Contain scope growth with baseline change management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for updates and concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement in PM processes.
