Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Project Engineer in the CNS organization based in Deer Valley, Arizona, operating on a hybrid schedule. You will lead large software engineering projects spanning weather radar, CNS products, and avionics, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans while coordinating with cross-functional teams worldwide.

You will mentor engineers, drive process improvements, manage risks with EVM, and ensure delivery to customers and certification bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum 8 years of project experience or technical CM in avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposals, statements of work and cost estimates.
• Serve as technical POC for customers and program manager.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables; prepare schedules and resource plans.
• Monitor progress with EVM; manage risks and changes; ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes.
