Job summary

Safran Aero Boosters in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Aeroacoustics Engineer to lead acoustic analysis and noise control across engine test facilities. You will manage modeling, testing, and continuous improvement of aeroacoustic performance, reporting to Engineering leadership and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a MS/PhD preferred in acoustics or aerospace, 5+ years in aeroacoustics, and experience with engine test environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Acoustics or related field preferred.
• Experience with engine test facilities or propulsion noise control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead acoustic and aeroacoustic analyses for engine test facilities and related systems.
• Develop and maintain acoustic prediction methodologies and modeling tools.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide technical leadership for acoustic testing and field measurements.
• Mentor engineers in acoustic analysis methods and noise control design.
