Honeywell International, Inc. in Northford, CT is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to lead end-to-end development and launch of complex engineering programs that integrate hardware, firmware, software, and mechanics.

This role reports to the Engineering Program Management Director and operates on a hybrid schedule from Northford, CT. You will lead global cross-functional teams, drive schedules and budgets, and ensure successful product realization with ROI and business alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited technical discipline.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience leading complex engineering projects.
• 3+ years of hardware/software integrated product development with global teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering product development principles and PM methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Project for schedules, plans and updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3-4 concurrent global new product introduction programs across hardware, firmware, and software and/or mechanical development.
• Develop and maintain release roadmaps, schedules, and budgets using MS Project or Smartsheets.
• Direct multi-disciplinary teams (10-15+ across sites) to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Define program scope and manage change control with stakeholders on contracts and scope variations.
• Drive commercialization to meet ROI, cost, and business objectives while balancing feasibility.
• Identify and mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure production readiness and design transfer.
• Report program status to senior leadership with milestones, risks, and financials.
• Ensure compliance with Honeywell product development processes and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and engage customers when required.
