Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to lead end-to-end development and launch of complex engineering projects within the FIRE portfolio of the Building Automation Strategic Business Group.

You will manage cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical engineering, coordinating with stakeholders and customers. The role is based in Atlanta, GA or Northford, CT with a hybrid schedule and substantial global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience on complex engineering projects.
• 3+ years of hardware/software integrated product development with global teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering product development principles and project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with MS Project for schedules and updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3-4 concurrent global new product introduction programs overseeing integrated hardware, firmware, software, and/or mechanical development.
• Develop and maintain release roadmaps, schedules, and budgets using MS Project or Smartsheets.
• Direct multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams (10–15+ members across sites) ensuring alignment and timely execution.
• Define program scope and manage change control with stakeholders on contracts and scope variations.
• Drive commercialization success by aligning with revenue, cost and business objectives while balancing feasibility.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively and collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams.
