Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Program Management for the AMPT group in the Missile Solutions segment. Based in Canoga Park, CA (preferred) with travel up to 15%, you will oversee multi-phase missile propulsion programs and lead a cross-functional IPT to meet schedule, cost, and technical goals.

The role requires a senior PM background, strong leadership, and the ability to engage customers and stakeholders at all levels. Security clearance is often required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with PM experience.
• Formal project management training (PMP) preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Negotiates contracts and changes; coordinates proposals, budgets, and SOWs.
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities and reviews.
• Establishes milestones and monitors master plans and schedules.
• Leads cross-functional teams across technical, manufacturing, and admin areas.
• Champions new concepts or technologies and improves processes.
