Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Sr. Specialist, Program Management for the Advanced Missile Propulsion & Technologies (AMPT) in Huntsville, AL. This senior role drives programs from inception through completion, managing cost, schedule, and technical performance with customer-facing leadership.

The candidate will coordinate proposals, budgets, and SOWs while guiding interdisciplinary teams and coordinating IPTs to deliver milestones in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years related experience, or Graduate Degree with 4+ years, or 10 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Security Clearance eligibility required.
• Direct experience with solid rocket motor design and/or production.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, driving execution to achieve key business and financial objectives.
• Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance for company programs or subsystems of major programs.
• Participate in contract negotiations and modifications.
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals, SOWs, budgets, and terms and conditions.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for program activities and lead program reviews.
• Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research and testing.
• Monitor milestone adherence and drive solutions for issues.
• Provide guidance to employees supporting the program across functions.
