Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manager, Project Engineering to lead a team of technical leaders across Missile Propulsion programs. This role provides technical direction, oversight, and aligns program execution with strategic goals at the Los Angeles area sites.

The ideal candidate will drive staffing, performance management, and succession planning, with travel 5–10% and the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance. Onsite at Canoga Park, CA facility under 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; 9+ years of engineering experience for related roles.
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years of related experience; in lieu of a degree, 13+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Create vision, strategy, and execute against the plan to build a best-in-team engineering team.
• Oversee and coordinate project engineering leads across multiple programs and sites.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and program management to meet goals and milestones.
• Provide labor and resource planning to ensure proper staffing.
• Provide performance management, objective setting, and talent development.
• Perform conflict resolution and develop performance improvement plans.
