Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Principal, Program Management for AMPT in California. The role leads programs across life cycles, drives execution, and coordinates with customers and internal teams to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.

Requires deep PM expertise, a relevant engineering degree, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance. The position supports 9/80 schedule with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and a minimum of 12 years of prior Program Management experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 10 years of Program Management experience; or 16 years of PM experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion and achieves financial objectives.
• Negotiates contracts and contract changes; coordinates proposals, budgets, and SOWs.
• Leads customer reviews discussing cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Establishes design concepts and engineering efforts for development and testing.
• Sets milestones, monitors master plans, and allocates resources as needed.
• Directs cross-functional teams across technical, manufacturing and admin areas.
• Recommends tactics influencing overall results and communicates with senior leaders and customers.
• Provides guidance and training to employees; champions new systems and processes.
