Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Principal Accountant (SGL17) to serve as the go-to for Shared Services and Operations Accounting. You’ll review journal entries and reconciliations, perform analyses, and lead special projects while supporting audits and rate filings.

You’ll partner with FP&A, Regulatory, Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to resolve issues impacting results and drive robust financial processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead team guidance and ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare/review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support month-end close and financial statements packages.
• Assist with audits and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Regulatory, Ops, Eng, and PM to resolve issues.
