Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Lead Technician to install, terminate and configure access control devices, CCTV, NVRs, and related security hardware on site in Austin. The role requires leadership of a small field crew and coordination with project managers to meet milestones.

You will work on both new construction and retrofit projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely documentation. Relevant certifications in VMS, access control, and camera equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two VMS certifications required.
• Minimum two access control certifications required.
• OSHA-10 certificate required.
• Camera manufacturer training certificate completed.

Responsibilities

• Onsite tasking of resources to meet project milestones.
• Install access control devices and electrified door hardware.
• Install and program CCTV cameras, both analog and IP.
• Install and configure NVRs and VMS platforms.
• Ensure safety on the job site and maintain quality control.
• Lead field technicians to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and trades on site.
