Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Lead Behavioral Technician to collaborate with a BCBA in developing programs, goals, and care plans for clients in home and school settings. The role includes training new technicians and supporting experienced staff, while mentoring teammates and occasionally taking on-call duties.

You will work closely with families, deliver ABA interventions, and create educational materials under supervision, ensuring high-quality behavioral care and program fidelity.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for interaction with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software to document and manage cases.

Responsibilities

• Delivers ABA intervention to children in home and school settings as outlined by the Behavioral Change Plan.
• Develops and creates programs, goals, materials, and BCP under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Develops and creates training and educational materials for use by other Technicians with the supervision of a BCBA.
• Trains new technicians; offers support and shadows as necessary.
• Provides job-specific direction and guidance to other Technicians; acts as a mentor for cases and processes.
• Periodically takes on-call duties to answer questions and provide guidance outside regular hours.
• Provides support and education to families.
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary.
