Job summary

Royal Aircraft Services, LLC in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an experienced Lead A&P Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft to meet FAA and customer standards. You will supervise no staff but lead by example in a fast-paced shop, perform run-ups and rigging, and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and how they apply to daily maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience working on aircraft airframe and powerplant systems.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting and repair tasks.
• Able to manage time and prioritize tasks in a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft to meet FAA and customer standards.
• Schedule shop work to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Check mechanical components prior to installation to prevent damage.
• Accurately estimate hours and materials for scheduled jobs.
• Operate required ground support equipment and perform run-ups/rig checks.
