Job summary

Royal Aircraft Services, LLC seeks a Director of Maintenance in Hagerstown, MD to lead hangar/line technicians and coordinate maintenance with FAA compliance and customers.

The role requires strong leadership, aviation maintenance experience, and a focus on safety and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate holds an FAA A&P certificate, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least five years in maintenance with three years in a director-level role. Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of maintenance experience in Part 121/135/145 operations.
• At least three (3) years in a director-level or above management role.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations under 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; FAA A&P certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison with FAA Certificate Management Office regarding Part 145 operations.
• Leads and directs maintenance staff and administrative personnel; ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinates aircraft induction and shop schedules to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.
• Ensures all work is inspected and records (inspections, releases) are properly completed.
• Ensures compliance with FAR 121, 125, 129, 135 and 145 programs and log requirements.
