Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking skilled aircraft maintenance technicians to inspect, modify, and repair company aircraft at the maintenance base. You will troubleshoot discrepancies, supervise mechanics on advanced tasks, and coordinate materials, tooling, and manpower for shifts.

Must hold FAA A&P certificate and be fluent in English; experience with transport-category aircraft and electronic test equipment is preferred. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
• Experience with transport category aircraft maintenance preferred.
• Formal training on advanced systems/avionics.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software and digital manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair company aircraft and complex discrepancies.
• Perform inspections per procedures and ensure airworthiness.
• Lead mechanics on advanced tasks and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Read/read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Organize daily tasks and manage shift resources.
