Job summary

Royal Aircraft Services, LLC is seeking an A&P Mechanic in Hagerstown, MD to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft to meet company and FAA standards. The role requires reading blueprints and manuals, estimating hours and materials, and performing engine run-ups and flight control work in a shop environment.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and FAA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and task cards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, work orders to troubleshoot, repair, install aircraft parts.
• Schedule work to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Inspect mechanical components prior to installation to prevent damage.
• Estimate hours and materials for scheduled jobs.
• Operate required ground support equipment.
• Install and rig aircraft flight control surfaces and operate aircraft systems.
