Job summary

Royal Aircraft Services in Maryland is seeking a Lead Aircraft Inspector to ensure airworthiness and adherence to FARs, company manuals, and OEM data. You will oversee inspection processes, sign airworthiness releases, and guide maintenance staff in compliance with Part 145 requirements.

The role requires a current FAA A&P license and at least five years of experience on FAA certificated aircraft, with strong knowledge of CFRs and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current FAA A&P license.
• Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR 65.83.
• Five (5) years’ experience on FAA certificated aircraft.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English per 14 CFR 65.71(a)(2).

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety throughout the organization.
• Ensures maintenance adheres to FAA regulations, Part 145 and OEM data.
• Ensure access to current technical data for technicians; coordinate with GM for data.
• Audit and sign off on work cards, logbooks, and release airworthiness.
• Owns airworthiness release and logbook entry process.
• Supervise inspection activities and oversee inspectors as needed.
