Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA seeks a skilled Quality Control/Assurance Inspector to join our maintenance team. You will perform inspections, review workmanship, and ensure aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition with proper documentation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, an A&P license, and 8 years of aviation maintenance experience (including 2 years with Gulfstream aircraft) plus 2 years in aircraft inspection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; A&P license required.
• 8 years aviation maintenance experience including 2 years Gulfstream aircraft experience and 2 years aircraft inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on aircraft/components.
• Complete inspections of repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA approved data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements during maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of work performed on aircraft/components.
• Audit maintenance documentation for accuracy before return to service.
• Mentor technicians on documentation.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to flight.
• Communicate with RTS to ensure timely production of accurate records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
