Job summary

Imagine Early Learning Centers is seeking a Head Teacher for our DOE 3K classroom in New York. This full-time role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula in a nurturing, licensing-compliant setting.

We value experienced educators with strong communication skills who can engage with families and co-teachers. The position requires a BA in Early Childhood or related field, with 1-2 years of relevant teaching experience, and eligibility for DOH/DOE credentials.

Qualifications

• BA in Early Childhood or Special Education or related field, or in progress, a plus
• 1-2 years experience teaching ages 2-5 years old in an Early Childhood program required
• Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process preferred
• Clearance for work in DOH child care programs and DOE PKA classrooms a plus
