Job summary

Imagine Early Learning Centers in New York City's Manhattan campus seeks an Assistant Teacher to join a safe, nurturing, and collaborative team. You will participate in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, communicate with families, and help maintain licensing and accreditation standards.

Applicants should have a CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood (or in progress) and prior early childhood teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education, preferred or in progress
• Previous experience teaching children in an Early Childhood program preferred
• Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process a plus

• Effective communication with families, staff and board
