Job summary

Imagine Early Learning Centers seeks a Head Teacher to join our NY metro location. You will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and maintain effective communication with families and co‑teachers while adhering to licensing and NAEYC guidelines in a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualified candidates typically hold an AA in Early Childhood or related field (BA preferred) with 1–2 years of teaching experience with infants/toddlers; ESOP benefits, paid time off, health

• AA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field preferred, or in progress
• BA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field, or in progress, a plus
• 1–2 years experience teaching infants/toddlers in an Early Childhood program
• Familiarity with NAEYC standards and accreditation process preferred
• Clearance for work in DOH child care programs and DOE PKA classrooms a plus

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Effective communication with families and co-teachers.
• Ability to adhere to licensing and NAEYC guidelines.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities.

• Minimum of an AA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field preferred, or in progress
• BA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field, or in progress, a plus
• 1-2 years experience teaching infants/toddlers in an Early Childhood program required
• Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process preferred
• Clearance for work in DOH child care programs and DOE PKA classrooms a plus.
