Job summary

Imagine Early Learning Centers, an employee-owned child care management company, seeks a Head Teacher for our NYC center. You will contribute to a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, and collaborate with families and co-teachers to deliver high-quality care.

Ideal candidates will have an AA or BA in relevant fields, 1–2 years of teaching infants/toddlers, and familiarity with NAEYC standards; DOH/DOE clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an AA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field preferred, or in progress
• BA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field, or in progress, a plus
• 1–2 years experience teaching infants/toddlers in an Early Childhood program required
• Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process preferred
• Clearance for work in DOH child care programs and DOE PKA classrooms a plus
