The Head Teacher will plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, communicate with families and co-teachers, and ensure compliance with licensing and NAEYC guidelines. Experience with early childhood programs and ESOP culture is valued.

Competenze

• AA in Early Childhood or related field; progress acceptable.
• BA in Early Childhood or related field is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience teaching infants/toddlers in an early childhood program.

Imagine Early Learning Centers seeks a Head Teacher at Imagine Early Learning Centers. Our center is a safe, nurturing, fun, and friendly environment. We are seeking an experienced and creative professional looking to join a team providing the highest quality, educational childcare for working families. Responsibilities include:

Participating in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Effective communication with families and co-teachers.

Ability to adhere to licensing and NAEYC guidelines.

Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of an AA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field preferred, or in progress

BA in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education or related field, or in progress, a plus

1-2 years experience teaching infants/toddlers in an Early Childhood program required

Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process preferred

Clearance for work in DOH child care programs and DOE PKA classrooms a plus.
