Job summary

Airgas USA, LLC is seeking a Director for the Remote Operations Control Center in Independence, OH. The role leads health, safety, environmental and quality compliance for remotely managed plants and drives strategic direction for ROCC.

You will mentor the ROCC team, coordinate with AMG supply chain and process engineers, and advance continuous improvements in remote production across the organization. A BS in engineering and 10+ years in the industry, with 3+ years in management, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering strongly preferred.
• ASU-Air Separation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health, safety, environmental and quality standards for remote operations.
• Support strategic direction and mentorship of the ROCC, aligning with company objectives and managing change from local to remote operations.
• Coach and develop ROCC team members, including managers and individual contributors.
• Oversee operations of remote plants in ROCC, guiding daily production and collaborating with supply chain, production and process engineering teams to optimize end-to-end performance.
• Provide training and professional development for shifts leaders and technicians, ensuring procedures and safety protocols are up-to-date.
