Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Licensed Limited Energy A (LEA) Technician in the Portland area to join the field team. This on-site role covers installation, service, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electronic security systems across commercial and residential environments.

You’ll work independently in the field, handling device configuration, system commissioning, and coordination with support teams; rotating weekend on-call is required.

Qualifications

• Valid LEA license required in Oregon; WA a plus.
• Experience installing/servicing low-voltage security systems.
• Strong field troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security systems (access, CCTV, intrusion, fire).
• Program, configure, and commission systems.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues in the field.
• Read wiring diagrams and job plans; perform cabling as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers and support teams; document work and outcomes.
• Participate in rotating weekend on-call for emergencies.
