Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide direct clinical social work services in transitional housing and medical respite. Reporting to the Program Director, this role is part of the facility’s treatment team and provides clinical assessment, therapy, resource coordination, and client-centered advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• Minimum 2 years of appropriate experience.
• Knowledge of Social Learning Theory.
• Knowledge of Cognitive-Behavioral interventions and approaches.
• Experience with clinical assessment and evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Valid driver’s license and driving standards.
• Ability to handle Protected Health Information and HIPAA rules.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Interview clients, families, and involved agencies for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop plans to strengthen social functioning.
• Provide therapeutic support to address mental health symptoms.
• Provide clinical consultation and client-centered advocacy.
• Maintain an extensive resource directory related to healthcare, housing, entitlements, and services.
• Identify and coordinate referrals and linkages for clients.
• Update resource information monthly or as needed.
• Document client treatment and progress in permanent files.
• Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain client and staff confidentiality per agency policies.
