Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS products across North America. You will demonstrate workflows, train customers on SCIEX platforms, and collaborate with Sales and Product teams to deliver solutions and technical expertise.

The role requires a strong background in mass spectrometry and LC-MS, with the ability to communicate complex data clearly and build customer relationships. Up to 50% travel within North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences field.
• 2+ years with mass spectrometry and LC-MS, plus method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to present data clearly to diverse audiences and build relationships with customers.
• Experience troubleshooting instrumentation and applications, especially LC-MS/MS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations of SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows.
• Provide on-site training for customers on SCIEX hardware and software platforms.
• Identify growth opportunities with business units and sales teams.
• Develop and test new hardware/software solutions for internal and customer use.
• Participate in scientific conferences and training to stay current.
