Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher company, is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS demonstrations, method development, and customer training in the Clinical and Forensics markets. This on-site role is based in Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO with up to 50% travel across North America.

You will partner with Sales, Service, and Product teams to deliver pre-sales support and technical expertise, advance hardware/software solutions, and help customers achieve reliable, accurate measurements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences.
• 2+ years of mass spectrometry and LC-MS experience with method development and troubleshooting.
• Ability to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience with small molecule quantification on triple quadrupoles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations of SCIEX LC/MS workflows.
• Provide on-site training and ongoing support to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Product teams on pre-sales activities.
• Assist in defining new hardware and software products and test them.
• Participate in conferences and training to stay current.
