Qualified candidates are pursuing ABET‑accredited engineering degrees, have completed at least 30 semester hours, and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher. TWIC eligibility is required for access to regulated facilities.

A Process Safety Engineer Intern may be assigned to assist in implementing and maintaining systems to reduce risk to diminish or remove hazards. The Process Safety Engineer Intern actively works with Business Unit engineers in their designated operating areas to implement, update, improve PSM systems and processes, standards, and procedures, and communicates critical PSM/RMP-related performance information to the HSSE Department.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Candidates selected for employment must obtain a TWIC card.
