Job summary

Sun Valley Landscaping is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Tech II to perform lawn mowing and maintenance on commercial properties, aiming to meet or beat budgeted man-hour goals while delivering quality work.

Candidates should have 3+ years in lawn services, be able to operate and maintain mowers and equipment safely, and possess a valid driver’s license. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus; a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in lawn services (mowing, trimming, edging, blowing).
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record, and be able to pass a drug test.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and have full mobility.
• Physically able to perform duties with safety and reliability.

Requirements

Desired Experience and Education:

• Minimum of 3 year’s experience in lawn services such as mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on mowers and other equipment
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record, and have ability to pass a drug test.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Physically able to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
• Always maintain a positive and supportive attitude
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Summary: The Commercial Maintenance Tech II is a professional who is proficient in all aspects of lawn mowing & maintenance services. The technician’s main objective is to properly maintain commercial properties while meeting or beating budgeted man hour goals while performing quality work. Technicians can work with minimal supervision and provide a safe environment for other team members & clients. Our lawn teams meet and operate by the standards and research provided by the University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension Office. Candidate will require minimal supervision and conduct all jobs in a safe manner and in accordance with our company core values.
