Job summary

Sun Valley Landscaping is seeking a Flex Maintenance Technician to perform lawn mowing and landscape maintenance for residential and commercial properties. You will work on a team, handling a variety of tasks and equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Typical hours are Mon-Fri 6:30am-5:00pm with some weekends; this seasonal, hourly role offers a base pay of $21.00 to $24.75 per hour, plus benefits including a simple IRA match, paid holidays, uniforms, and wellness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a landscaping crew member role.
• Strong base horticulture knowledge.
• Knowledge of most residential irrigation systems preferred.
• Must lift 50 lbs and be physically fit.
• Nebraska Pesticide Applicators License is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean criminal record; drug test required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Able to work long shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Desired Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a landscaping crew member role.
• Strong base horticulture knowledge.
• Knowledge in most residential irrigation systems preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and physically have full range of motion in upper and lower body.
• Nebraska Pesticide Applicators License is a plus.
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Must be comfortable working long shifts and weekends when necessary.
