Job summary

Sun Valley Landscaping in Omaha, NE is seeking a landscape technician for a seasonal, on-site role. You will operate landscape equipment, follow crew leader instructions, and help meet project goals while maintaining safety and a professional appearance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in landscape maintenance, with the ability to lift 50 lbs. and pass a drug test. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscape maintenance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and full ROM.
• Driver’s license, clean criminal record and ability to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Able to work long shifts and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follows instructions given by the crew leader and landscape manager.
• Properly and safely operates equipment.
• Seek to master the basic skills of landscape installation.
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production goals.
• Reports to work in a clean uniform and appropriate boots.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies and safety procedures.
• Understand and uphold company standards, “The Sun Valley Way”.

Typical Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:30am-5:00pm, some weekends

Requirements

Desired Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 year’s experience in landscape maintenance work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and physically have full range of motion in upper and lower body.
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Must be comfortable working long shifts and weekends when necessary.
