DJ's Landscape Management is Minnesota’s leading landscape company seeking a Lawn Care Technician. The role requires state pesticide applicator certification and hands-on application of fertilizers, weed, insect, and turf-disease treatments to properties across Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Categories A & E) required.
• 1 year of commercial lawn care experience, including operation of ride-on spreader.
• Possess a Driver's license and ability to drive a truck w/ trailer.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing pesticides, calibrating spreaders.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers and treat for weeds, insects, & turf diseases.
• Calibrate and operate spreaders safely and efficiently.
• Maintain time and material records and navigate to properties with a smartphone.

Lawn Care Technician (Certification Required)

Requirements

• Minnesota Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Categories A & E mandatory)
• 1 Year of commercial lawn care experience, including operation of ride-on spreader
• Possess a Driver's license
• Experience driving a truck w/ trailer
• Basic math skills associated with accurately measuring and mixing pesticides, as well as calibrating spreaders to directed application rates
• Possess a Smart phone and use to track time and material, as well as navigate to properties
• The capacity to work independently or with a crew
• General working knowledge of proper lawn and landscape management practices, including basic grass, weed, & disease identification
• Flexible attitude open to helping in other areas of the business when needed
• Ability to lift 50 pound bags of fertilizer
