Job summary

American University’s Washington College of Law seeks a part-time Graduate Admissions Assistant to support LL.M. and SJD admissions with data entry, file maintenance, and communications. You will manage mail, assist with meetings and applicant files, and help with social media content under the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions.

This role requires strong attention to detail and communication skills, plus proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word. Enrolled AU students only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent completed.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
• AU graduate student status; not eligible for visa sponsorship or OPT.
• Experience with social media is preferred.

Responsibilities

• File maintenance: create files, track completion, and close files as needed.
• Data entry: maintain applicant records in Salesforce and LSAC.
• General clerical: answer main line, direct calls, manage admissions inbox.
• Social media: manage LL.M. admissions Instagram and assist marketing.
• Other duties as assigned by Graduate Admissions.
