Job summary

The Roger Williams University Law Library seeks an Access Services Coordinator to join the law library in August 2026. If you are passionate about delivering student-centered services in a dynamic environment, join our intergenerational library team in supporting Rhode Island's only law school, a national public service leader.

Reporting to the Associate Law Librarian for Research and Administration, you'll be front and center in fostering a supportive environment for students and faculty alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of library experience preferred, ideally in a law library.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience working with a diverse student body, faculty, and staff.
• Ability to function both as a team member and independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead circulation and reserve services and oversee related processes.
• Organize creative promotional activities and manage public-facing spaces and technology.
• Support collections and resource availability and analyze access services for improvements.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise over 20 student assistants; manage employment records and budgets.
• Provide general information, reference, and research services to the law school community.
