Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Professional Development Manager to lead a broad range of PD programs, including the firm’s non-partner evaluation processes and mentoring initiatives. The PDM will collaborate with department heads and practice groups to design curricula that support lawyer growth, retention, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; a JD is highly preferred.
• Five or more years of professional development experience at a law firm, law school, or other professional services firm is required.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience is required.
• Familiarity with CLE rules and requirements across multiple states is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Firmwide Academies and practice group training programs.
• Partner with department heads and talent development to assess PD needs.
• Manage and deliver mentoring programs, coaching opportunities, and development resources.
• Oversee the non-partner lawyer evaluation process and related communications.
