Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Professional Development Manager to oversee a broad portfolio of attorney development programs. The role leads evaluation processes for non-partner lawyers, designs curricula, and partners with practice groups to drive learning, engagement, and career progression.

The role requires collaboration with Talent Management, Marketing & Business Development, and other admin teams to deliver impactful programs while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD highly preferred.
• Five+ years of professional development experience at a law firm, law school, or professional services firm.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with CLE rules and requirements; openness to new technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement PD programs, processes, and initiatives for attorneys.
• Lead non-partner lawyer evaluation processes and collaborate with PD team on evaluation framework.
• Manage and deliver mentoring, coaching, and development resources for lawyers.
• Partner with department heads and practice groups to support development needs.
• Design Firmwide Academies and practice group trainings aligned with strategic goals.
