Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a Professional Development Manager to oversee a full range of PD programs. The role supports the Litigation Department and leads the Mock Trial Advocacy and related training initiatives across New York, Chicago, or Dallas offices.

The PDM will design curricula, manage milestone events, and collaborate with Talent Management, Marketing, and other teams to advance attorney development and retention. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• JD highly preferred
• Five+ years of professional development experience at a law firm or professional services firm
• Two+ years supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmwide professional development curricula and programs
• Lead non-partner lawyer evaluation process and related communications
• Coordinate training for litigation and other departments, including mocks and fundamentals
• Partner with Talent, Practice Management, Marketing & Business Development to align PD with firm goals
• Supervise PD staff and manage department budgeting and scheduling
