Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, based in New York, seeks a Professional Development Manager to lead associate development, coaching, and onboarding initiatives. The role reports to the Director of Professional Development – New York.

Responsibilities include coaching, integrating new and lateral associates, mentoring, and supporting associates with flexible schedules, while collaborating with office leadership on programs and events.

Responsibilities

• Coaching: provide confidential, individualized development coaching to associates and lead group sessions.
• New & lateral associate integration: plan orientation, mentor assignments, and check-ins.
• Mentoring: coordinate mentor program events and resources.
• Associate support: monthly check-ins and support for flex-time and parenthood.
• Local office support: collaborate on programming, events, and in-person support.
• Themes/Trends Analysis: conduct exit interviews and report trends.
• Academies: assist curriculum design for New Lawyer and Mid-Level Academies.
• Special Projects: plan long-term and special projects for development programs.
