Job summary

CFS in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a Law Firm Controller to lead all accounting operations. You will oversee AP, AR, payroll, and revenue forecasting, while partnering with leadership to safeguard financial integrity in a same-location firm environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, law-firm experience with billable hours, and proven managerial skills. Juris software expertise is highly preferred, with a focus on compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in the law firm industry including experience with billable hours.
• Managerial experience preferred.
• Juris software experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, and payroll.
• Manage revenue collections and cash flow forecasting (core focus).
• Maintain and ensure compliance with trust accounting requirements.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls.
• Utilize and manage accounting processes within Juris software.
