Responsibilities

  • Support the Controller in managing the firm's accounting operations.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor operating and trust account activity.

Sasooness Law Group is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our Controller in overseeing the firm's accounting operations. This role works closely with leadership and various departments to manage accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Controller in managing the firm's accounting operations
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and internal financial analysis
  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger activity
  • Manage and review accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
